Part 1 | Planned Parenthood: Yakima's Hidden Abortion Crisis

Spice Rack Jun 30, 2023

Planned Parenthood is one of the most insidious organizations throughout America. Our taxpayer dollars fund abortion, whether we want them to or not. For Christians, this is a major violation of biblical law.

We know it. We feel it. We hate it.

But for all our opposition, many are still in the dark about Yakima's own abortion crisis. No thanks to our local media.

The Lay of the Land

Yakima County is part of a region Planned Parenthood calls "Greater Washington and North Idaho," abbreviated as PPGWNI.

PPGWNI umbrellas 11 facilities across eastern Washington. You'll notice there are none in Idaho, despite Idaho being on the map.

As of late 2022, with the overturn of Roe v. Wade punting abortion back to the states, Idaho put their foot down. No more Planned Parenthood in Idaho.

The Body Count

But Idaho's valor hasn't stopped Washington from stacking baby bodies.

In 2020 alone, the state reported 2,814 abortions taking place in Eastern Washington. 500 of those children belonged to Yakima County.

For scale, 500 children is the size of the graduating class of IKE or Davis High School.

And this happens every year in Yakima County.

But the state also had data going further back.

Since 2009, Yakima County has exterminated 7,197 total children. The U.S. has lost about that many soldiers in its entire Global War on Terror (since 9/11/2001).

AND the state only includes abortions sought by Washington residents. The data doesn't include anyone coming from out-of-state to utilize abortion services.

The numbers are definitely higher, and the situation is getting worse.

The Abortion Migration

Abortion seekers in Idaho have been encouraged to come to eastern Washington.

As soon as Roe v. Wade was overturned, a group called the "Northwest Abortion & Gender Justice Coalition" began facilitating counter media. PPGWNI is a member of the Coalition, along with Cedar River Clinics and the League of Women Voters (and yes, Yakima hosts branches of those two organizations as well).

The Coalition anticipated that Washington would be seeing an exponential increase of patients seeking "care" due to losing Idaho; at least a 385% increase.

The Coalition sanctioned pro-abortion billboards to be put up along the Washington-Idaho border around Halloween of 2022. At least two billboards were intended for Yakima.

But the people of Yakima don't want to import more bloodshed.

The Posters of Yakima

Within 10 days of Halloween, posters One Crackima believes were in clear opposition to the billboards went up around town.

The Blessed "Ye"

Most glorious of all was a poster of Kanye West plastered to the side of Yakima's own Planned Parenthood.

The poster claimed "50% of black death in America is abortion," a quote from one of the Ye's interviews with Tucker Carlson on Fox News in early October 2022.

The Blessed Ye was up for at least a blessed day before being taken down. Maybe longer.

Federal Precedent

Bear in mind, disparaging a Planned Parenthood tends to have federal consequences.

According to the Department of Justice's own laundry list of grievances:

  • "In 2016, two defendants were charged with FACE [Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances] Act violations for vandalizing a Baltimore, Maryland, area abortion clinic on two separate occasions. One defendant pled guilty and the other was convicted at trial. Both defendants were sentenced to probation and ordered to pay restitution."
  • "In 2018, a defendant directed a threatening social media post to Planned Parenthood facilities and staff. The defendant plead guilty to federal offenses, including a FACE Act charge, and was sentenced to six months imprisonment."

In other words, vandalizing a Planned Parenthood can get you a federal trial, and an ominous social media post can put you in prison for 6 months.

Don't Be Fooled

You should be asking, "Where was the media on this?"

To date, One Crackima has found NO coverage of this incident.

KIMA, KNDO, and KIT chose complete silence. Meanwhile, the Yakima Herald-Republic was manically focused on painting Republicans as apathetic towards abortion, or simply not asking candidates about their stance on abortion at all.

So much for their slogan, "We Tell Your Stories."

Don't be fooled, Yakima. Whoever put up the Ye took a HUGE risk.

This wasn't just protestors standing around with signs. This was the closest thing Yakima has seen to desecrating the alters of child sacrifice.

After all, a little well-placed truth goes further than a Molotov.

💡
It's time we start asking what other heroic deeds the Yakima media is hiding from us.
